莫里斯H. Willey Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must be enrolled (full-time or part-time) at FSU in the College of Arts, 人文学科, 和社会 & 行为科学. Preference will be given to student(s) majoring in mathematics and/or science. The recipient(s) must have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0 and demonstrated financial need.
罗斯科G. Bartlett Scientific Scholarship
The recipient must be a full-time student with a declared major in math/biology/化学/physics or 工程 and a resident of the Sixth Congressional District (Allegany, 卡罗尔, 弗雷德里克, 加勒特, Howard or Washington counties of Maryland). The applicant must have an overall GPA of 3.0或大于3.专业平均绩点5分. A preference is given to renewal applicants. Demonstrated need may be a determining factor.
Borden Mining Company Scholarship in Honor of Albert and Elizabeth Borden
Applicants must be a full-time graduate or undergraduate student, 3.0 grade point average with a declared major in one of the following: biology, 化学, 地理位置, physics or 工程. Applicants must have demonstrated interest in research projects as shown by previous scholarship or research or membership or by avocation. A preference is given to projects associated with mining concerns including but not limited to reclamation, 水的质量, wildlife and environmental planning. Preference given to a Frostburg resident, defined as residing in the 21532 zip code area. The award may be received for two consecutive years.
Dr. Joan DeVee Dixon and Dr. 阿尔文·C. Broyles Presidential Merit Scholarship
Applicants must be accepted or enrolled full-time at FSU pursuing a degree in a major identified as a STEM program (science, 技术, 工程, 数学). Applicant(s)/recipient will be a well-rounded student with demonstrated active involvement in the arts at FSU (visual, 执行, literary) beyond the students' core curriculum requirements. The recipient(s) must have an overall GPA of at least 3.5. Applicants must have demonstrated financial need. Need is determined by applicants' completion of a current FAFSA form which must be submitted by published financial aid deadlines.
Thelma Shockley Scholarship
The intent of the Thelma Shockley Scholarship is to support a student with demonstrated ability in the 执行 arts. Applicants must be enrolled full-time at FSU with a declared major or minor in the 部门 of Music and/or Theatre and Dance. The recipient(s) must have an FSU overall grade point average of 3.0或更高. A preference will be given to renewal applicants. The award may be received for two consecutive years. In the event of equally qualified applicants, a preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated academic ability.
桑德拉·K. Saville Presidential Merit Scholarship for the Arts
Applicants must be enrolled full-time majoring in the 执行 or visual arts. The recipient(s) are required to have an overall grade point average of at least 3.5, strong academic achievement in high school as evidenced by class rank, and SAT scores in the upper quartile. Transfer students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.
